Change Happens
It has been my privilege to work alongside families, intimate partners, and individuals identifying strengths, increasing insight around problems and developing a plan to improve quality of life. I grew up in Seattle, and became a Marriage and Family Therapist as a second career. I've been with my partner for 30 years, and have two adult children. My roots are in the Pacific Northwest, but I moved to San Luis Obispo, California for a few years and started a private practice there. Now back in Seattle, I am enjoying reconnecting to the community.
I am currently accepting clients via Telehealth from Washington and California. Payment for therapy is out of pocket. My clients receive a Superbill to submit to their insurance plan and have received reimbursement from Anthem, Blue Cross, TriCare West, and Beacon. I am a MediCal Provider for Central Coast of California.
What gives me the most satisfaction as a therapist is seeing relationships transform. Primarily, my clients are those who are experiencing changes in their life, and finding it difficult to be in a healthy relationship with their partners, their family, or themselves. I enjoy seeing individuals and relationship partners who may be suffering from heartache, worry, or sadness and yet are still curious to find another way, shift perspective, and discover more acceptance with themselves and others.
